    Since its founding in 2005, Petko Design Inc. has specialized in prototyping, development, and production of medical and scientific devices. Located in Coquitlam, Canada, we serve clients in many geographical regions including Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, and China.

    With our team of highly trained and experienced engineers we offer a wide range of electrical, mechanical, and optics engineering services. Our knowledge of advanced technologies assures a quick understanding of customer needs. Our company's organization is very streamlined: we do not have unnecessary overhead.   • Scientific Camera

     

    When one of the world’s leading microscope manufacturers needed a modular CCD camera design, Petko Design created a SOC solution using FPGA technology. Embedded on the FPGA is a 32 bit CPU, communicating with specialized peripherals for CCD interface, memory interface and USB communication.

    The resulting system has an unprecedented level of flexibility: most of the hardware design is reconfigurable, reducing the cost of prototyping and minimizing hardware redesigns in the development process.
